LEYLA PEKMEN

Born and raised in Izmir Turkey, Leyla Pekmen started painting at age three. Spending most of her time in the Art Studio of her neighbor, she got fascinated by different forms of art growing up. After studying Economics Leyla worked in local and International Advertising Agencies. In 2005, she founded frög, an independent advertising agency with 3 partners.  In 2011, she joined an art studio and developed a passion for ceramics.

Inspired by nature, Istanbul's daily chaos, and her son her work consists of ceramic sculptures, acrylic paintings, and mix medium collages.
